Question spark and no spark

g 16 sometimes it runs then stops, no spark then it will go and stop again .
any possible suggestions . coil?

I would check for wiring issues first, make sure all connections are good and especially any ground wires. Everything grounds to the battery on these carts not the body/frame like a car does. Then I'd look at ignition parts.

thankyou, had already checked for wiring issue's, changed the coil tci unit and it seems to be doing ok. will need time to see if it has fixed the problem. Just a note to anyone that has same problem, a sparke checker is really something u need to help pin point sparke problems.

so far it hasn't had any more problem, Just a note I might have caused failure of coil by leaving key turned on, don't know if that would cause it.

It was probably just time (12+ years) and heat working together.

That's pretty common on how they act when they fail. They heat up, stop working then cool off and prestoworking again
