Re: PDS motor on 48 volts
I've been running my 36 volt motor on 48 volts, 20" tires, 400 amp controller, loaded with golf clubs or a trailer during parade season, and I've not had a problem with mine so far at all. You've got other problems.

Re: PDS motor on 48 volts
I checked everything and it all seems ok. The only thing i can think of is i had washed some mud off the the cart the morning before the motor got so hot.I'm wondering if something was wet and caused it to get hot.I turned off the Turbo and brake current the next day and ran for about an hour and it was fine. I t just had me worried that my motor was about to quit on me.
