Default Re: Tires

Lot of people use alltrails on the street, they still look like an offroad tire but work well as the tread is closed like an older car snow tire.

Far as a stock cart I've fit 20x10-8 on the rear of many yamahas and 20x8-8 on the front. You often can fit a 20x10 on the front if you use spacers behind the wheel I stacked up washers on one. About any 18x8 will work (stock size). Note that a 20 atv tire may not fit they seem to be larger than lawn mower tires, if you want a knobby I'd try the 18 one for gokarts. This was with stock wheels. You can put holes in the rear wheel wells (small holes) and wire or ziptie them back from the tire if it rubs a little. When I lifted mine they hit in front and I cut and wired them back, the right cut and they still function as designed. The lawn tires I usually bought local at a discount or farm place, maybe like tractor supply or farm and home/etc. Walmart has some of them too. They can be put on by hand we made a changer just a pipe and a bolt welded to a plate, clamped it down and put the wheel on it then it was pretty easy.
