G16 Rear End Fluid Level
I tried a search on the site, and can't come up with the information that I'm looking for. Is there a way to check for the proper fluid level in the rear end when the cart has a 6 inch lift. The manual says .42 quarts, but unless I'm measuring for a science project, I don't know how much that is by looking at it. Do you fill to the bottom of the fill plug hole, similar to some cars? Also if the rear end is at an angle is the measurement affected? Any input would be much appreciated.

Re: G16 Rear End Fluid Level
Remove the diff cover to drain, use blue RTV to seal, and fill until it overflows the fill hole.

Re: G16 Rear End Fluid Level
Thnaks. I was kind of thinking that way, but it doesn't hurt to ask before making a possible mistake.
