with the steering wheel puller under pressure hit the center bolt with a hammer. A sharp blow with a good size hammer will pop it off. You may go by a machine shop-automotive shop-or any fastener company to find a bolt. Remember your looking for a 3/4 SAE fine thread not course.

Evidently I have a different clutch because a 3/4 bolt will not fit I tried a 5/8 it wouldn't even fit! I tried to upload some pics but I can't figure out how to do that either! I got frustrated and had to walk away it was that or break something. The fan has not budged either the hammer didn't help believe me I tried...

Slow down D. Make sure that there's not a plug in the hole to protect the threads or that large washer is still in place. Was you able to insert the rod? Can you see the threads? 3/4 or 5/8 to large or small ?

Some clutches have a different threaded opening. I had to use a 14mm (metric) FINE thread bolt to pull my drive clutch- give that a try. Be sure you use a metric fine thread bolt- it will start to thread in easily if it is the correct size with the correct threads. Get one with a high hardness rating (at least 8, but I think the metric bolts are rated differently and go up to 12.9)

I think it may be a 14mm the 5/8 was too big and 1/2 was too small, the clutch looks to be fairly new, it doesnt look to have alot of hours on it! I looked for a part # or name but couldnt find anything. How do I upload pics to this site? Sorry but im new to forums and do not know how its done. Im sure I will need to know. I am OCD so these undone projects kinda aggravate me until i get them done. taking a break for today I will pick up a few metric bolts tomorrow and try them still have puller sitting on the fan sitting under pressure but it hasnt moved ANY! All the help IS appreciated!
