torque problem
New to carts, installed DCX 500, 400 amp soleniod and 2 ga. cables in 09 Precedent. Green light burning on controller. Thought alright that wasn't to bad. Now the problem, in reverse instant power on the go pedal and will bark the tires in the garage. In forward pedal goes half way down before power and no where near the torque. Is this a programing problem? Useing stock motor which Scottyb suggested.

Sounds like you might have 1/2 speed reverse mode on in forward? Try swapping the F1 and F2 wires at the controller or motor.

You have wires backward. Controller is programmed for 1/2 speed reverse.

Thanks Scottyb and Speed. The only problem now is getting your foot off the go pedal while your pushed against the back of the seat. Sure glad I opened the garage before I tried it. It was half way down the drive before i got it stoped. Wow I am shocked, what torque. You was correct I don't need a motor.
