sounds like some wire somewhere is wrong, I know its a pain but check things out again

When I put a new rectifier in my charger I wasn't sure how the wires hooked back up. It was different than the old one. I rigged a 30 amp car fuse on the power wire inside the charger. Glad I did because when I plugged in the charger the fuse popped. For some reason my power drive 2 doesn't have a breaker. Could it be that your breaker is not working and stays on no matter what?
