Flip seat that doesn't push FT seat forward
Can anyone recommend a flip seat that once installed, will not push the front seat back forward. Or at least only push the seat minimally forward???
I have a 2002 DS, 48V. |

My beef with rear seats isn't how it pushes the seat backs forward as much as how it stands them up straight and does away with the incline they had originally. Makes for an uncomfortable seat back situation. I'm interested to see what's out there as well, subscribed.

My buddy has one on his DS but it is a cheap steel one. But it maintains the seat backs angle. I would not recommend it as it replaces the stock aluminum. I will get the name of it and post it here asap.

Well.....
After calling and talking to the folks at DIY golf cart, I decided to order their deluxe flip seat kit. They said it should not push the front seat back forward. I will let you know how it works out. The kit won't be delivered till the middle of next week. Will take before and after measurements and pics. Will let you know. |

Just finished install of my new flip seat. Front seat back was left in the original position, so mission accomplished! Bought my deluxe seat kit from DIYGolfcart.com. Purchased kit for 2002 Club Car DS.
