Don't use lawnmower batteries...

Either the one I posted or the one cgtech posted only take 4 wires, 2 for power input (+48v) and 2 for isolated power out (+12v).

The meter that You have with the 'Wireless' shunt can be direct connected to either the 12v battery or the 48v battery without any problems since it has 120v isolation built in.

The meter with the 1000amp shunt needs to use the small $15 dc-dc isolated power reducer, and the 2 wires for the +12v output can only be connected to that meter and nothing else.

Great Sergio!

So I can tap off my 48 to 12v reducer for the wireless meter since it has built in isolation? Or does it need to be 48 from the pack?

And the 1000 shunt meter, I can also use 12v from my reducer to the dc-dc isolater, then run the 12v isolation power to that meter only?

You can tap that meter off the +12 reducer output since it works with any power supply above +10v.

Yes, that will work as well. In this case You can use the less expensive and cooler running 9-18v input unit below:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-DC-Conver...item35a6e54561

Connect it as Follows:
Pin2 = Vin = Input: +12 from Converter.

Pin1 = GND = Input: - (negative) from Converter.

Pin6 = +Vout = Output: +12v Isolated Power to meter.

Pin7 = 0V = Output: - (negative) Isolated power to meter.

Thanks Sergio! You are a rockstar! I ordered that from eBay. Now its a waiting game from China. I will keep you posted.
