Will it fit
Just wondering if anybody knows if a 1987 ez go would fit in the back of a pick up truck? I'm not sure what the dimensions of the cart are and I need to move it about 40 miles here in Central Florida it does not run but it rolls. I don't have a truck or a trailer and I'm wondering if a U-Haul pick up would be able to handle it but then I would also need some sort of a ramp.

What Dave said. You will either get a Ford F150 or GMC Sierra 1500 pickup from U-Haul. Both of which have the 8' bed and will hold a golf cart no problem

Re: Will it fit
Yea I have to move my cart and I was worried it would fit on my 4x8 trailer. It's an ezgo. My step dad measured it and confirmed it will fit on my trailer so yours should fit in an 8ft bed assuming no lift and extended tires.

Re: Will it fit
It it wont run I suggest finding a trailer and borrowing something that would tow it if you don't have hitch. It be a real PIA to get it in and out of a truck. These things are heavy.

Re: Will it fit
Be careful if you get a trailer to make sure it is long enough. An 8 foot has the length for a stock cart but will probably have to put it in backwards so the batteries are past the axle and if it is a tilt trailer that can be a pain too because the trailer will tilt before it is all the way on. Ask me how I know

Re: Will it fit
If you trailer it backwards, but sure to remove or tie down the seat also.

Re: Will it fit
All good info. Or just get an enclosed trailer.
