Re: 09 RXV no go
Bypass test ? Is that removing the small black wire from B- on the controller ? And the instructions don't say so but I ASSUME you hook the heavy wire back up ??

Re: 09 RXV no go
Well put my hands on the cart today and started trouble shooting. Solenoid good, power resistor good but didn't get to check past that because it was still on the trailer and didn't feel like unloading and reloading. Started going down through the real time diagnosis and saw where the throttle switch was not changing when the pedal was pushed. Did the test on it and bad switch. Just for grins I shorted the pins in the connection and it tried to move. Still strapped to the trailer so more tests tomorrow now that I have it home. Hopefully just a bad switch.

Re: 09 RXV no go
Please do not short pins on RXV's
Controller is not short circuit friendly... Bad idea. |

Re: 09 RXV no go
Okay RXV gurus, looking to order the switch and turns out there are two different ones. I failed to get the serial number off of his cart and I think it is an 09 and of course that is where the switches change. The one I need has a rubber boot and is longer than the one on the brake pedal.
There are two switches. 612889 that looks correct and has the rubber boot but I would swear there is no disconnect at the back of it on my switch 607605 that looks close but the button would be too short without the rubber boot. OR do I need 612889 and 615747(harness plug) Thanks in advance |

Re: 09 RXV no go
Just like ezgo. I think I could make the old style work because all they did is add a rubber boot and pin on the end but in the end it is about the same price so may as well order the correct thing. Thanks mardad
