Default What are your thoughts on Advance Auto 6v batteries

http://m.advanceautoparts.com/h5/r/s...f+cart+battery

You can get these for around $85 with online coupons. I can't decipher the AH from the specifications that they list so that I can compare them in Jonny's chart. Help here battery experts?

Anyone have any experience with them? I run all Advance auto batteries now and have a few marine deep cycle and love them.

Discuss, ready go!

Overpriced! Don't let the online coupon code fool you. The price online, which is $143, doesn't include the core of $27. The actual total is $170 for the 8V. I found red top 8V US Battery batteries for less in my area.

Ummm, my area shows it at $125. And I will turn in my old batteries. Cores around here are $5 even though they say $27 online. I looked I know. I think they have different prices in different areas.

So I positively can get this battery for $125- $40 coupon. So it will be $85ish with trade.

Google advance auto $40 coupon.

You have to buy online and pick up. You can only buy one at the time to get the deal.

The code I got is trt41 , I have not confirmed good but there is almost always a code that's valid so if it's not I could dig another up probably. I buy all my batteries like this and many parts as well. They have many codes that come out to about 40% off if you stay close to the trigger limit on it. IE $10 off $25 or $40 off $100

I have advance auto batteries. Been in my card for about 2+ years I would guess. No problems thus far, but I have the 8v batts.

Friend down the street has the Advance Auto 6v and had them for about the same amount of time. He let his sit, unattended to for the first 8 months... Bad form. But the batteries are still doing well for him.

I planned on doing the same as you with the 8V batteries they sell and use TRT41 for each individual battery to get the 40% off. I do this with everything I buy from Advance. I went to check out and that's when I noticed the difference in price

Attempt to check out and see if the price stays the same. Hope it works out for you better than it did for me.

Batteries are always funky. In my area, until I put my zip or log in with my account it shows like a $27 core. On the last car batteries I bought I didn't care ...was just going to give them my old one. But once I was checking out my core was back to $5.

I did notice the 8v was more expensive than the 6v, was this not the difference?
