Re: Looking to buy 1st cart, should I go electric or gas
Thanks everyone for the advice. I've decided to go with a gas cart. Main reason is I don't want to be limited on distance or have to worry about carrying a charger around with me.

Re: Looking to buy 1st cart, should I go electric or gas
I can understand your fear of running out of charge with an electric cart, but honestly at 5 miles each way you would still have around 50% of range of a stock RXV for running around while you are there. Plus you could always convert it to 5 8 volt batteries in place of the stock 4 12 volt batteries for a bit of extended range. Or is you really wanted to, convert to Lithium ion batteries for around an extra $3500 and get 40+ miles of range.

I hate to be picky, but I think you ment six 8 volt batteries, not five to replace the four 12s.

Re: Looking to buy 1st cart, should I go electric or gas
I guess next time I will try to remember to type out six instead of aiming for 6 and hitting 5
