Power wise overcharging?
So I noticed my analog state of charge meter was not working..I was able to pull it out and test it and it looks like the meter is bad....but not sure what happened to it
So I checked my batteries while charging and was reading at one point 49 volts!! That seems a bit high? Not sure what the range should be but I am thinking it screwed up the meter? I don't want to get another meter only to have it burn up! Thoughts? Oh yeah....36volt system...02 TXT |

Re: Power wise overcharging?
The PC board in your charger is bad. They are supposed to shut down at about 42-43 volts. It is possible that this is what killed your meter.

Re: Power wise overcharging?
The PC boards are under $100 and fairly easy to change out.
