Default Admiral B1 motor change out.

I have a series cart and got a B1 motor the other day. I’ve been sick with salmonella of all things the last few days and today I feel well enough to try and swap it out once it cools down. Any tips or tricks or things you wish would have done when you swaped it out?

be careful. both motors are HEAVY..

but seriously.....when disconnecting AND installing the cables, ENSURE you use two wrenches, one as a back up to ENSURE that the nut that's up against the case does not move. Otherwise, the windings may get damaged inside the motor.

Also, move the rubber bumber (piece) from inside the old motor coupler to the new motor.

So finally, after replacing everything including old Smokey (my last motor). My cart runs awesome. Thanks for the Controller/solenoid/motor Scotty B, initial break in drive was consistent 18mph 17mph up slight grade on stock tires. I have the lift kit sitting in my garage, now I just gotta find rims and 23 inch tires.
