Cart going forward

I have a 2009 RXV and lately when I put the cart in forward I hear the soliniod click but the cart won’t go. I then put the cart in reverse and hear the click but the cart will not go backwards. When I put the cart in forward again it then goes forward without a problem. Has anyone ever had this problem? Thanks in advance!!

Likely something blocking the full return of the gas or brake pedal. Perhaps a floor mat or junk in the pedal box. Keep feet off pedal when engaging key switch.

Thanks for the help. I do have my foot off of the peddle until I hear the click. The cart is used for hunting so there maybe mud in the pedal. I will try to pressure wash the pedal area and see if that works.

No do not pressure wash. Take off both side kick plates and then take the rubber floor mat off. Pull cover off the pedal box area and clean out without water if all possible.
