I have a club car ej8-4001a (48v 3.3 HP) motor. Totally stock.

The controller has the IQ-V4 Field Map loaded.

Other settings:
KSI On Voltage: 24.0
Under Voltage: 38.5
Over Voltage: 62.0

Use with BMS: off (unchecked)

User Inputs:
Dual Switch (selected, both down)
FNKS (not selected)
FN2 (not selected)

Max Motoring Armature Amps: 395
Max Motoring Battery Amps: 400
Max Regen Armature Amps: 45
Max Regen Battery Amps: 45
Plug Braking Current: 250.1

Max Reverse Motor Speed: 50%

Speed Limit: 6000 RPM
Throttle Rate: 25%

Turbo (checked) Drive Style: Street

Field Map Loaded: IQ-V4

Misc Settings
Enable Speed Limit (checked)
Speed Sensor: 8-Pole selected

Those are all right on and no limitations. (And I would probably turn the amperage down to 350 to protect the stock motor longer) But leave everything as is for now why you are testing.

You need to check the throttle while the tool kit is hooked up and ensure you are getting 100%. If so, then check tire pressure, front end alignment, brake dragging, and pack voltage under load.

The battery amps should always be less or equal to armature amps as it makes no sense the other way around.

The better Field map would be EJ4-4001-V9.

That makes sense...I have a 400 amp controller on a stock motor and that is the field map that alltrax sent me for that application...

Definitely . The IQ field map is for the GE motor.
