Re: Marathon rebuild with pics
What a great build! I would appreciate if you could list the equipment installed. It is always great to know what really works with each other. I am a newbie and it would help me understand when I can look up your parts and see what they do and how they work. For example what PB did you use, which buss bar, which fender flare?
Thanks so much! |

Re: Marathon rebuild with pics
Redryder,
The rear seat is a flip seat. It came with the cart. I don't know the model #. As you can see I modified the step plate to fit my receivers. I eliminated the flip part because of weight. The seat bottom attaches with two bolts so I can switch to my aluminum bed in 5 minutes. The best I can do is try and match a model # by pics and what will fit an 88 marathon. Give me a few days. EZ-93, I will be happy to list the parts and numbers I used. I need a day or two to sit down with my old receip[ts. |

Re: Marathon rebuild with pics
These are the components I used to upgrade:
48 HD Solenoid quick disconnect ball joints and rod appropriate diodes and resistors 4 gauge cables pot box for 89-94 marathon 700 A 0-5k alltrax controller D394 "The Beast" motor Lester high frequency industrial battery charger trailer 4leaf springs for rear(very stiff) JCAC -400 reversing contactor (eliminated ome f&r switch) club car f&r rocker switch and housing (cheaper than ezgo) I used ome mud flaps for the rear and attached two to the front Datel digital led meter As far as the rear seat, I googled "ezgo flip rear seat" and the best match seems to be here http://www.cartstuffdepot.com/inc/sdetail/3384 I had to get another axel. No motor upgrade available for my unique year. Currently am working on glove box doors to fit existing holes You know, I never considered protecting the bottom of the batteries. I hope this helps to all who asked about the upgrade. |
