How to spend a lot of money for no reason
First I would like to thank ScottyB, if I had read everything he has posted here, I would have saved a few hundred dollars and not had to work so hard to get the cart going this Spring.
Required reading for all EZGO'ers: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...agnostics.html I had a jerky hesitation and sometimes no go at all. In the course of only partially troubleshooting my symptoms, I ended up replacing the following parts: 1. FNR switch, with HD switch. (Still didn't run right.) 2. New NPX 400amp Alltrax controller (Still didn't run right.) 3. New HD Solenoid (Still not running!) 4. New ITS sensor (Finally it works!!) The 500.00 I spent on the first 2 parts was not necessarily a loss, I now have all the parts I wanted to eventually get, but I got them in the wrong order for fixing my carts' problem. If I would have read ALL OF THE TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES, I would have only had to replace the ITS sensor for 120.00 and been back on the road. To all my fellow buggiers, lift a glass of your favorite brew to ScottyB and take the time to read all of the posts before asking questions and spending time and money on the wrong fix. Thank You!
