I See we are talking about 2 different motors here. The one you considered is not the same # as the one he has. He has ES-5E

Update:

One bad battery, replaced under warranty. Result : more low end torque, unbelievable torque. Top speed the same. Two people in cart goes 9 mph on flat pasture. 12 mph on pavement. Pulls front end off ground then goes slow. Run time is looooooonnnngggggg. Almost as long as it takes to get somewhere. Hahahaha

Tore into ITS as recommended by Scotty B.
white wire to b- 0.1 volts solenoid engaged 0.03 volts peddle down all the way
Black wire to b- 9.4 volts solenoid engaged. 6.1 volts peddle all the way down.

This is obviously out of spec. Ordering a new one.

I wonder if this explains why I have so much power at first then becomes weak after about 5mph. White wire should be 1.0 then 2.7. What is the white wire telling the controller?

Are you sure those are the white wire (Pin-3) specs for an AXE controller??????

Those are the specs for a stock PDS controller and the specs for a stock series controller is 0.4V-0.6V to 1.5V-1.7V
I don't know what the ITS voltage specs are for Alltrax controllers, but I think they are different than they are for the Curtis 1206, 1206MX and 1206SX controllers.

They all use the same ITS sensor (coil), but the controller is the ITS voltage source, which in turn determines the pedal position voltage range returned to the controller.

I'm going to start a thread to ask what the Alltrax ITS specs are.

I know this is an old thread. Found it on a Google search. Just read it all and was wondering if OP ever figured out the problem...cause there clearly was one!
