help choosing big block
ok ok ok. hears whats up. i just got back from the bonanza. whitch was freakin awsome. you guys all made the trip well worth it. any way what im doing is not selling my cart which i tried to do to no evail. im actually going to tear it down and rebuild it. but what i want to do is lower it to stock height and put a 23 hp vangaurd in it from cpp. but it says i have to have a 4 inch lift. i want stock height so is there a kit i can get with a big block and keep stock height. thanks in advance.

Re: help choosing big block
No kits that do that. The ONLY one I have seen even remotely stock height is a yami...but its not stock height. It has taller rockers, it only looks stock to me. You can drop the front engine cradle.....but IMO its not the right way to do it. Sure, you might be able to do some extreme fab work and shoehorn one in but thats not a kit.

Re: help choosing big block
It has been done with a ezgo with a little extra work. And the kit swill fit right in a g16-22 without any lift at all. But a Club Cars a little tighter on space. We state in the instructions cart must be lifted (for a direct bolt in) however I have had customers tweak the kit for a one off install.

Re: help choosing big block
I've done 2 Yami's. A G16 and a G8. The exhaust could be a problem, but I didn't find it so with Tom's exhaust "header" and "stock" muffler in the kit. It does help to use the billet adapter and K & N filter. Its lower than the original air cleaner box set up, but the original does work. Would recommend rear shock's "heavy duty or jakes coil spring kit". Good luck Dave
