12V adapter
I would like to add a 12 volt adapter/cigarette lighter for the sole purpose of charging my cell phone while using a GPS app. Is there anyway to add one without installing a volltage reducer and if so, what are the potential issues that I may encounter?
My cart is a 2001 EZGO PDS, 36volt. |

Re: 12V adapter
Yes, You can get 12 volts by hooking your wires to any two batteries that are connected. Two 6 volts in series makes 12 volts and the charger won't use enough power to worry about running down the two it's hooked to, compared to the rest of the pack.
