Solenoid closes when direction is selected
Hello everyone. I have an '97 TXT 36v. When I turn on key and select forward or reverse the solenoid closes, is this normal or should I have to move accel. first?

Re: Solenoid closes when direction is selected
It is not normal. Check the accelerator pedal. Pull up on it and see if it comes up any. if it does, and you hear the solenoid release, then you know the stickey pedal is the problem.

Re: Solenoid closes when direction is selected
Thanks Rusty, I have had the cart up off the ground and the lever that the pedal rod hooks to is touching the frame at the end of it stoke it can not move any more. How much adjustment is there on that rod?
