Default LED Headlight

Could I splice into the factory headlight wiring and run this LED bar? I’d disable the headlights by just unplugging then from the headlight itself. But would like to keep the function of the tail lights.

Dumb question. Should I take both wires from each headlight and wire them together to mate up with the led light? Or could I just use one slide of the headlights wiring?

You don't have to splice into anything. Jump off the light switch or run a dedicated 12v line with a switch in the middle for on/off.

And for your other question you could do either one. Its all coming from the same line anyway. But running 2 wires is just too easy not to do.

Awesome. Thank you. Guess I’m thinking too hard about it.

Got it installed today. Thanks for the help. It works great.

Cut the factory wiring to driver headlight. Spliced into that and works great.

So, since The kids want an led underglow kit. Can I just splice into the same wire I did with the led front light? I’d wire it to it’s own switch.
