just checked continuity on all the connections from the FR switch to the controller...all good

I really do appreciate your help...i am at my wits end..so any expertise you can share is welcome

how about the f/r switch contacts ?

oh BTW make sure you jack the rear off the ground when testing as cart might just take off

Thats the only thing I haven't pulled off and checked out yet...but is it possible for the solenoid to click and voltage read right and the contacts be worn or damaged???

yes .. solenoid supplies power to system at controller

so it is possible to read 38V at the motor and the FR switch be damaged and keep the motor from turning???
sorry for the questions but this electric stuff baffles me...Im used to gas engines

and if i have it in Forward or reverse...same voltage at motor, but no go

no if you have 38v at motor and it will not turn then motor has problem
putting 12v to it and it running is strange
i would test it with 24v then 30v and finally 38v jump .. but just a quick test as it will spin real fast and could damage motor

motor running all the way up to 30...i didnt try the 38...you got me all nervous with the motor damage thing....
