Thank you for the follow up! I feel like an idiot for not verifying they matched before mounting the motor (dear lord that sucked). What material is best for the bolts?

I used standard steel bolts. About the same length as the metric ones. Run them in and out before installing the motor to make sure the threads are good. Chase them with a 1/4-20 tap if they are boogered up at all. Installing the bolts with the motor in place is tricky - one of them especially. I have two of these G29's and I have had motors in and out a couple times on each.

I went with a Plowman motor. Great power/torque for the hills in my area.

** edit** Plowman Riot Kit.

Sorry, went with the OG Riot Kit. Also dropped a new set of 6v x 8 Trojans in at the same time. I am not a huge fan of the lift but I needed it for my trails. I rarely have it on pavement, so I don't know what top speed is.

My G22 had new batteries and a new 300a Alltrax when I got it. Replaced OEM stuff with the Riot Kit motor, solenoid and cables. I'm happy with it...
