Re: Swapping engines/G2/G9/G8/G14
Doing G2 engine swap into G11. Notice significant difference in spark triggering "area", def not compatible. They did not follow my instructions to swap Everything to new motor from old motor, now im finishing the job (after their work trying to get it to run eventually killed the coil, incorrect dwell is my guess).

Re: Swapping engines/G2/G9/G8/G14
So I have a g9 with a locked up engine, and a spare g2 engine. Is this swap plug-and-play? All I have from the g2 is the engine, no harness or anything

Re: Swapping engines/G2/G9/G8/G14
Swap all the ignition parts from the old motor, and swap the flywheel from the old motor onto the G8 motor. Then it will be a breeze... See my post above about the flywheel, it must have its matching pulser, and they both must be matched to the correct ignitor (electronic ignition box). All the needed parts from the G2 motor bolt right on the G8 motor. Important- Use a steering wheel puller on the 3 bolt holes on the flywheel, Do not use a big "jaw puller" on the outside edge of the flywheel. You can see the puller i used in the photo behind the flywheels.
