Yep 6.7 hp & 350a controller (made by toyota, i hear). Both specs blow EZGO rxv specs clean out of the water. Our yamaha rep hinted that "blowing rxv out of the water" was their target. I heard today to expect our first truckload this week.

With the carts purpose of driving two oddly dressed folks over paved paths at 12 mph I hardly think yamaha will make the new AC-drive Drive an over the top, tire burning monster. It's not cost effective.

Soooo, pretty much a standard Yamaha but with AC drive. No funny stuff like on the RXV. Correct?

Looks like they went back to drum brakes and got rid of the Team setup.

So I stopped and drove the new AC cart today. They have 2 models of the electric cart. One they say has a SHO motor, whatever that is. Has a high speed, low speed switch. But the guy couldn't tell me if it was AC powered. Pretty fast. Then I drove the actual AC motored cart. It was Sweet. Hooked up my mph app and it did 27 mph out of the box on a flat street. Checked it a couple of times. 0 to 20 was quick. I like it!!! Hmmm me is thinking about one. Merry Christmas to me!!

From what i hear, no "motor brake" funny business. Yamaha has been over the whole Team thing for a while now. Back to a Schaffer (Dana sold to Schaffer, but its the exact same), and drum brakes.
