Default G14

I have a yamaha g14 and previous owner did some redneck welding on the transaxle and sold it. My question is where can I find a used year end and what rear ends will work? Thank in advance.

Greg.

Does your axle have the bolt on tubes (bolts to aluminum centersection)? If your axle looks like mine with vent tube, you can just unbolt the tubes and replace any damaged external part individually. You did not really say how or where they messed it up.

The previous owner welded the spider gears up to make it position traction on both sides also the transmission cover has been welded together and the pin the idler gear rides on has been welded to the case and has broke the weld thus cause damage to the clutch and some internal parts

Since the G14 was a complete redesign from G2-G9, im not so sure they would interchange into yours. Take measurementsfrom the brake plates to the axles on both sides & measurements to the mount points & i'll do the same. We then compare.
