man...this cart is messing with me. Now, when I ground the field wire, im reading 17v at the battery. I did this before and nothing happened. I even had the regulator tested. guess ill order a new one. the no start was a ground issue and the charging issue may have been the voltage regulator after all

No problem bud. I don't have all the answers but try to help where I can. This forum helped me out so much when I first began dealing with my old Marathon (after a shop took me for a $400 ride and didn't fix the problem) and I like to share the knowledge I gained with other folks.

Hard to say. I try to do my own thing and the service guide has been my reference point for most diagnosis of my cart issues.
