play on flywheel stud
Hi. Having an issue at moment with a splutter/hesitation problem. Tried a multitude of things that one of our fellow members has been trying to help me with on another thread. But, being utterly frustrated at moment I thought I'd check the points gap which I had recently fitted. I took the flywheel off and noticed the stud that the flywheel bolts to has a fair amount of play in it. I can pull it out some. Is this normal ?? See pics.
The way I see it, is that the flywheel could in effect move in and out. Maybe I'm wrong. Thanks |

Re: play on flywheel stud
Well, me being a novice, I worked out that when you put flywheel back on and bolt up with the quiet longish bolt it stops all the play. Ah well !
