Default yamaha g22

first post on here guys, I currently have my radio mounted on top of my g22. its too high and I cant read anything so I wanted to move it. any suggestions? I cant find a dash kit that actually shows a spot for the radio so I was thinking about mounting it in one of the cubby holes. any suggestions? pics? thanks in advance

A full stereo is on the huge list for me to do to my G22 this winter. I will likely be fabricating a bracket and panel on the cubby to put it in and give a nice clean look. Maybe fancy the panel up with some carbon fiber wrap or something.

I bought one of the regular dashes and used one of the two bigger center cup holders to mount the round marine radio in there. Works great.
