Default Runs slow

I have a 2005 club car precedent 4 12-volt my problem is that when I press the accelerator pedal it jumps out great then after about 50 feet it cuts back to like 5 MPH LIKE THE SELENOID IS KICKING BACK . Let set turn off key flip run tow switch a couple times and repeats the same process any ideas thanks

Sounds like it could be a speed sensor, please read the post at the top of the page to give you a idea what to look for and test, hope that helps.

I'm thinking maybe solenoid drop out cable, not sure if I have one but that's what it's doing you can take off real good as long as you don't push pedal all the way down, but when you do you can hear a click like the solenoid is kicking back down and then runs slow. If I stop and turn key off and switch off tow run switch for a few seconds the process starts all over again, searching for help thanks they say the drop out cable was added after 2003 mine is a 2005 I believe it's a Sepex (4) 12 volt system
