But i do have another Newbie question for all. My mounting joint block for the Carb. has lots of small cracking / drying around inside were mounts or sits flush to engine. Was going to order a new one of these however the ones i've seen on Buggies unlimited & EBAY have a nipple coming out the top of them and mine does not. Is this the right replacement and i just cap off that nipple?

Yup same thing just the newer ones had an air champer that connected on the nipple believe guy on here had same problem and couldn't find same one so he just bought that one and capped it just make sure you seal it well any extra air will make it run poorly

Ya, kinda what i figured, thanks again spicy, just wanted to make sure someone didn't stick a different one on mine and that it was suppose to have a vac line or something going to it originally that would have made it run / start better etc..A lot of "universal parts" for these things i'm starting to learn..

Compression seems very tight and makes a strong whooooshing noise when turning over by hand.. Not sure if that helps.. lol
