Dropping fire
elmerkirk@att.net I have a g1 Yamaha when I try to start it it will have about 12 volts and then it will start to drop all the way down to 1 volt does any one know where I need to start this is at the coil

That was not it the drop in the voltage is on the orange wire at the coil I want to think all of you that are helping me thanks

Orange wire goes to the cdi trace it back and make sure it's not grounding anywhere and check connections if that all checks out it may be bad cdi
