Jake's 6" Lift Kit G1 Help
I'm in the process of installing Jake's 6" lift kit on my 89' G1. I'm pretty surprised at the amount of fabrication needed for the frame clearance with the primary Sheave. By my measurements, I'll need to notch the frame more than half the diameter to allow for enough clearance. This will require a great deal of fabrication to restructure the frame.
I've searched around for example of what others have done with no success. Has anyone else run into this issue with notching the frame? It would be great if you could provide pictures of an example. I'm trying to figure out the best way to add support back in without a great deal of fabrication. |
