Default Brush Guard Suggestions

Looking for a brush guard with a winch plate for a 2008 Carry all. I've been told one for a DS will work. What have y'all found that fits and works well? Thanks......

I don't have any way to build so I was looking to buy. Wish I still had the ability to fab up something.

Hey, let's see yours! Always nice to see an "non credit card" part or assembly. As for not having the tools to fab, well,, Is there a better excuse to buy, trade or scrounge them?

you might be able to adapt an xrt brush guard- I am not 100% sure they fit but I know the xrt is a cousin to the carryall (in 04 the carryall 294 is the same thing). My 04 xrt has a factory brsh guard- *seems a little flimsy though*-it would protect the cowl if you say dropped a rake on it- but if you hit a tree I doubt it would do much. It has a four bolt hole center section that is a little thicker-metal where you might be able to adapt a winch mount- Maybe someone can confirm suitability.

Do your "oops tubes" go back under the frame.or is the frame end plate reinforced? The stock CC plate will not stand any serious pulling with the winch mounted above it.

One other thing to consider. What ever guard you decide on, check the wall thickness of the tubing it is made of. 65 thou wall tube is only cosmetic, especially if mounting a winch. 120 wall + tube is structural and will stand the stress.
