Default 99 Club Car Battery

Hey All,
Asking for a friend. No seriously. LOL. Friend has a 99 Gas Club Car that needs a new battery. However they currently don’t have access to get into where it’s at to see what kind it is. They would like to have a new battery with them when they go and get the cart. It’s at a campground.

Is this something that can be purchased at Walmart. I was with her there this past weekend looking at the batteries but there were many different models of them. Just looking for some advice to pass on

Thanks. If more info is needed I will do what I can to get it

Jesse

Most places have a hefty core charge unless he has a junk battery laying around it will litteraly pay to get the old one out

A 70 group size will fit, unfortunately most places don’t carry them anymore. It was once a fairly common car battery size but really hasn’t been used since mid 70’s or so. You can make a 75 group size fit, but have to modify the hold downs.

Yes, but most places will refund the core charge when you bring the core in.

So pick one up on the way to camp ground, then return the old battery when you get back.

I have an old battery they could have anyway. Just unsure what would fit. Probably gonna end up waiting at this point.
