Spark is all that's left. It's not making the jump at the plug gap which could either mean a dead plug (cracked, fouled, carbon tracked) or the coil is a dud and can't give enough spark to jump the plug gap when under compression. Plug gap should be .028" IIRC Make sure the gap is set properly. Make sure the coil air gap is .012". Too far away and you won't get proper magnetic field induction and wont get good spark.
Also what plug number are you using? Kawasaki recommends a NGK# BP5ES. This is a NON-resistor plug. If your plug has an R in the number (ex. BPR5ES) it's the wrong type of plug. |
