Cylinder head refinishing 295-350
Hey guys just seeing if you all think there would be enough business to support a small cylinder head overhaul service
Seeing as these heads are getting harder and harder to get thinking that taking a practically shot head ie cam surface messed up and getting cam bearings made and machined for the head along with valve jobs and things like that Seems like a slim market but seems like a need also I’m always looking to make side money and have access to machining equipment just would have to figure out some bearings and whatnot but shouldn’t be hard Give me your guys thoughts |

Re: Cylinder head refinishing 295-350
Probably not here in my area. The price for OEM parts has doubled in the last two years. Adding that plus the cost to repair a head would lead to me think it would not be a good idea.
Just my thoughts. I do love these Robbin engines and try my best to buy all I can in case I do need parts. With what these parts bring I got a small Fort Knox hoarded right now |
