Also, I dont trust inline spark testers. They only tell.you "if" there is a spark. Just because there is doesnt mean it is strong enough to jump the gap in the plug and ignite the fuel mixture.

I trust my eyes. Take a spare plug with you and hook it up as soon as it dies. Saves you the time of removing the spark plug and etc. Hold it against a valve.cover bolt. If the spark is consistent, and blue it's good. If its white, yellow, or inconsistent then it's probably a bad coil.
