Fuel pump won’t seal
Have a couple 84 ezgo. New fuel lines. Have tried new fuel pumps but the spacer gasket to the pump doesn’t seem to seal up and pump the fuel from the tank. We have 120lbs of compression. When motor spins over there is pressure coming from crankcase to fuel pump hole. Anyone have any tricks to these old 2 strokes and getting the fuel pumps to seal up on the motor crankcase?

Re: Fuel pump won’t seal
There is a gasket between the engine and spacer, and an O- ring between the spacer and pump.

Re: Fuel pump won’t seal
Check the spacer block for cracks, mine broke in half many years ago. They're unavailable so I was forced to mount the pump directly to the case, no gasket no sealer just the O-ring seal that comes on the pump. Works fine this way but you'll need shorter bolts
