Smoked my controller
Upgraded my cables to 4ga and must have been half asleep reattaching to the controller and wired it wrong. After connecting the batterys I pressed the pedal and "poof" from the controller. Oh, well. I was thinking of upgrading the controller anyway. I currently have a plum quick motor installed. Does anyone have a plum quick controller? Are they as good as alltrax? Is 475.00 a fair price for a 300 amp controller? BTW, feel free to call me and idiot for hooking up the controller wrong.

Re: Smoked my controller
I think you did it on purpose so you could get a bigger controller

Re: Smoked my controller
Nah, we wont call you an idiot for smoking a controller.....now, if you do it twice we will. (and it gets put under your username. J/K)
Both controllers will be fine but I prefer Alltrax out of the 2. Shop around and yo might find a good used one. |

Re: Smoked my controller
PQ is just a good motor winding shop specializing in carts and does not make controllers. I believe they have been selling Logisystems lately but can probably get anything.
The most accepted are Alltrax, others are made by Curtis, GE, Logisystems, Soliton, Kelly etc. |
