St Sport II jump seat
http://www.cabelas.com/product/UTV-J...der;Search-All Products
Just happened to pick up a Cabelas magazine and found this jump seat. I thought it might be useful in the bed of the Sport II. Got it in today. Once we put it together and mounted it, it weren't half bad. What do you think? |

Re: St Sport II jump seat
I like that man. I'm currently looking at the sport II and the 2+2. The sport II is about $1000 cheaper though. And I was thinking I would use the bed some but not sure how much. This little thing you have seems to give u the best of both worlds.

Re: St Sport II jump seat
Thats cool!. I got more dog(s) needing the bed then people needing seats...otherwise I'd be heading over to Cabellas.

Re: St Sport II jump seat
I think folks in the rear seat better wear head protection because of the roof proximity.

Re: St Sport II jump seat
It's mostly kids riding in the back. I will look at the possibility of removing the bed, enclosing the engine compartment (for sound), and mounting the seat rails to the frame. That should lower it and bring it closer to the rear. I think this can be done with pins. That way I can change out the seat or bed just by pulling a couple of pins and installing one or the other. As for the feet area when the seat is installed I have one of those baskets that fit in the hitch receiver that should make a good step. It's all in the experimental stages right now. I'm open to suggestions or ideas. We use the cart for the barn work but it's also fun to just ride in.

Re: St Sport II jump seat
Gave a long hard look at the bed removal idea. The seat "legs" are too wide for what I had planned. Finally got it mounted in it's final resting place. The bed. Also not too close to the top to bang the head's of riders. I rode in the back with my son driving and never touched it once. We had a big fire in the back pasture, cooked some hotdogs, and general bs session. My son (9 years old) removed the seat by himself and placed it on the ground near the fire! Worked out really well.

Re: St Sport II jump seat
Can’t thank you enough for this idea. Just bought a similar cart and wife wanted me to remove the bed and put in rear seats. It will mostly be kids and the dog riding back there at the campgrounds and I wanted to keep the bed for yard work. This is perfect. I think I have an old double wide deer stand seat I can fab up and use pins to make it easily removable.
