reverse buzzer only works when cart hot?
I got a small farm wagon put together and have been riding the kids around the neighborhood on it. I am trying to make sure that I will be able to make the Mardi Gras route through the neighborhood without issue, and so far so good.
Anyway, the cart is new to me, and from the time I got it I figured that the reverse buzzer was dissconnected since I never heard it. Then after five laps around the hood the other night (2 mile loop) I had a reverse buzzer when I put it up in the shed. Next day, no buzzer. Only after a good long hard ride will I get the buzzer, and even then if it sits iddle, I get nothing? What should I check. I have a feeling that this will lead to upgrades and that will lead to trouble |

Re: reverse buzzer only works when cart hot?
If you've got a mechanical F/R switch by you right knee, one of the micro-switches on it activates the reverse alarm.
It might need a little adjustment to get it to work before the F/R switch warms up. If you've got an electrical F/R switch on the dash, the reverse alarm is activated by the controller. |
