Default question about my 1983 ezgo golf cart

it will drive fine for a hour of using it around the yard then it will just creap and shutter and ill stop and then try it again and nothing then i got to charger it again. does anybody know what that could mean, thank you all

I agree with Scotty! How old are your batteries? Check the voltages by this chart and it will give you an idea.

The shuttering is low voltage on the batteries, but good batteries last alot longer. See what voltage you have, I think the batteries are going bad.

ok thanks everybody they are refurbished, so that might be it, i got them 5 months ago thats not cool ill check them in the morning thanks again ill report back and let you all know thank you again.

You can also check each cell with a hydrometer. My neighbor had a single cell go bad. If yours are only 5 months old, even though their refurbs, the dealer might swap it out.

ok all the battiers are 6.2 to 6.4 but one batt. is 4.42 si that one i would say is not good? it doesnt come up in charger with the charger on, i think its a dead one. could that cause it to only go 1 hour and die or is that wiring?

Make sure you buy a USED battery, if you put a new battery in a pack of old ones uneven charging will kill the new one quickly.
