Thanks ScottyB I will try anything at this point. I thought of something though regarding the fried controller. When I first turn the key, I get a flashing green light for a few seconds, then it turns solid green. If I recall correctly, that is the self check process and a solid green means "all good". If that is correct, wouldnt this suggest that the controller is still OK. Otherwise, wouldnt it get an orange or red led?

Not necessarily. The green led only tells you that the controller is powering up.
I have sent controllers to Alltrax with the green led lite up and they pronounced them DOA. |

At power up, # of green blinks indicates configured throttle type: 1 Green = 0-5k 4 Green = EZ-GO inductive (ITS) 7 Green = CLUBCAR 5K-3-wire |
