Newbie needs help with controller wiring

I am glad to hear you got it going. You know more about the cart for having had the problem.... It's not an uncommon, lots of people have that problem. Which is why I put the solution in the instructions.

For the benefit of others, I was also puzzled that the light didn't come on when the key switch was turned on, but a quick glance at the wiring diagram shows that it doesn't get power on pin 1 until all devices in the solenoid activation circuit are satisfied.
