Got my first Golf Cart Need help
I just got my first golf cart, it is a 2 stroke Jacobsen. It diamond plate, has a metal manual dumpbed with the seatback attached to the back of the bed.
I looked at the Identification Number the Serial Number is 84001 1993. I know nothing about it except it is in good shape and I got it cheap. Can anyone tell be what type of utility cart this is? Also, where to get parts is it similar to EZ GO? If So which model? Where is the identification tag on the motor? Can I put a lift kit on it? Thanks for any help, I need to get it running before my wife sees it. |

I love the whole diamond plate body. If only they made those for the G2's.

Yep, GXT-800..I have that exact cart. It's basically a Marathon. Anything you can do to a Marathon, you can do to that. Mines a '91 so I have the 2 stroke engine. Looks like yours is in much better shape than mine was when I started |

Re: Got my first Golf Cart Need help
Been doing my research and it is a Jacobsen T1000. Thanks for the advice now I got to figure out the cross part reference. Evidently it is a pretty powerful machine.

Re: Got my first Golf Cart Need help
depending on the engine, it's either 9hp or 11hp - if your muffler is horizontally mounted it's a 3pg engine (11hp) otherwise it's the 2pg (9hp) ... Both engines are excellent runners - here's a link to another thread RE these T-1000's
