'88 marathon 2 stroke differential oil
Hey you Cart Freaks, good morning.
I am replacing the Differential Oil after inspecting the gear box for wear, play etc. since I stripped out the hub spline on the driver side rear axle. What is the proper gear lube? I am assuming it to be 80/90 hypoid gear oil like I use in my car manual trans and rear end. I read that people just use 30W motor oil, but that was on newer electric models. I'm thinking the Gear lube. It's a Spicer differential. Any suggestions? EZGO Chuck |

80/90 is fine to use. I think the manual says 30w. Either will work.
